Established in 2016 in Milan by Uljan Sharka, iGenius is an AI company on a mission to humanize data and democratize knowledge. Today iGenius operates in four different countries and counts +100 international talented professionals in the team. It has received recognition from several experts in the field of AI, including Gartner.
With more than 30 years of experience in scaling new business in Telecom and Digital, Stefano Parisse joined iGenius to expand and strengthen the company positioning in the market, which is already recognized by major clients, including Allianz, Enel, and AON.
Parisse’s career started as a consultant at Ambrosetti, followed by Monitor and Bain. He was one of the leading forces behind Fastweb in its start-up phase and managed the scale-up of Vodafone, where he fixed broadband in Italy and was responsible for the company’s new business development across Europe, California, and Asia.
Over the last two years, Stefano Parisse was in charge of the digital transformation of public administrations, working for the Italian government, and managing the PNRR (Piano Nazionale Ripresa e Resilienza) funds.
Today, iGenius focuses on Generative AI for business data, a market worth more than 50 billion dollars worldwide. According to Gartner, by the end of the year, half of the data queries will be asked in natural language and accessible to anyone in a company, in an easy, fast, and intuitive way.
Crystal is recognized as a leader in the market for three fundamental reasons: the ability to connect different data sources to create a single source of truth with low integration costs and fast implementation times; the creation of a private AI brain for business data, generating proactive data insights; and an outstanding UX/UI that allows anyone in a company to access data in an easy way, accelerating decision making and improving efficiency and productivity.
Stefano Parisse’s role as SVP of Business Development is iGenius’ way of investing to expand the business across the EMEA markets, crucial for the overall business growth, and to target a potential IPO in the US and Milan.
