Rome - Trieste - Milan, June 4th 2024 – Fincantieri, one of the largest shipbuilding companies in the world, has signed an agreement with iGenius - the Italian deep-tech company that specializes in Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions - to develop a 100% Italian AI platform.
Combining iGenius’ AI experience and Fincantieri's know-how in the shipbuilding industry as a system integrator, this new collaboration aims to identify real AI use cases in the defense and civilian fields, starting with the Omega 360 radar data analytics managed by Fincantieri.
As part of Fincantieri's Artificial Intelligence development plan, this operation aims to master this high-potential technology and assess solutions to enhance the performance, safety, and efficiency of its products and workflows.
