Fincantieri Agreement: iGenius to develop Artificial Intelligence Solution on an Italian Platform
Roma / Trieste, Milan, June 4th, 2024 – Fincantieri - one of the largest shipbuilding companies in the world - has signed an agreement with iGenius, the Italian business that builds Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions, to develop AI systems working on a 100% Italian platform.
By combining iGenius’ experience in the AI field together with Fincantieri's know-how in the shipbuilding industry as a system integrator, this new collaboration aims to identify real AI use cases in the defense and civilian fields, starting with the Omega 360 radar data analytics managed by Fincantieri.
As part of Fincantieri's Artificial Intelligence development plan, this operation aims to master this high-potential technology and assess solutions to enhance the performance, safety, and efficiency of its products and workflows.
